There is a special "Museum Line 21" Tram that follows Bahnhofstrasse and Limmatquai to Burgwies. This tram is one of the historic, still-working ones from the museum collection. It runs from May to October.
Description:
Housed in the Burgwies Depot, the Zurich Tram Museum features twenty different historic trams, including the collection's oldest from 1897 and a version of the most modern city trams, the Cobra. In addition to exhibits on the history of tram public transportation in Zurich, there is a model of the city's current tram system. From April to October, the museum is open afternoons Wednesday to Sunday. From November to March, the museum is only open on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons.
