Description:

The Le Corbusier Centre/ Heidi Weber Museum is the last building designed by famous Swiss architect Le Corbusier. Commissioned in 1960 as a public exhibition building, the structure was drafted in 1961, with construction starting a year before Le Corbusier's death in 1965. The building was finished and officially opened as the Heidi Weber Museum in 1967. The building is considered a "total work of art"synthesizing Le Corbusier's many years of experience and design. The roof is supposed to appear as if it were floating above the rest of structure, protecting it from the elements.
