NileGuide Expert tip:
Four paintings (Paul Cézanne's Boy with the Red Waistcoat, Edgar Degas' Count Lepic and his Daughters, Vincent van Gogh's Blossoming Chestnut Branches, and Claude Monet's Poppies near Vétheuil) were stolen from the collection in 2008. The Van Gogh and Monet works were recovered, but the Degas and Cezanne paintings are still unaccounted for.
