Mascotte is one of the oldest and most famous clubs in Zurich. Mascotte proudly hosted 20th century greats like Louis Armstrong and Sammy Davis Jr before becoming more of a dance establishment in the 1980's. Under new management since 2004, Mascotte's calendar now has an assortment of live acts and big-name DJ's. Thursday nights feature the popular and unique "Karaoke from Hell". Curious? KfH, as it is referred to at Mascotte, is an evening of audience singing, as you would guess by the karaoke name. However, at KfH the song selection only covers heavy metal, and the brave singers are backed up by a live band.
