Opened in 1911, Grand Café Odeon is a belle-époque establishment with similar decor and pedigree to the famous coffee houses in Vienna. The art nouveau furniture is comfortable for sipping coffee or wine. Former famous patrons include Lenin, James Joyce, Erich Maria Remarque, Benito Mussolini, and Albert Einstein.  In the evenings, Odeon is popular with the local gay crowd.
