Casa Marina is a family-owned shopping complex on the Paseo del Pescador in Zihuatanejo Centro that is a souvenir hunter's delight. There are half a dozen stores that each feature a different genre of Mexican handicrafts including toys, precious stone jewelry, traditional Mexican clothing, textiles, rugs and mirrors. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable of the provenance of their goods and will help you find the memento that is right for you.Casa Marina is also the primary location to purchase t-shirts that support SPAZ, the local humane society which is housed on the upper floors of the complex. The t-shirts make great souvenirs in themselves and help fund an important local charity.
If all the shopping tires you out, rest and refuel at El Cafecito. This on-site cafe has a full coffee & espresso menu as well as smoothies and homemade dessert treats.
