Chef and owner Angelo brings Italian flavors, wine and ambiance to his restaurant, Piazza D'Angelo. Locals flock here for the generous portions of hearty and fresh Italian food that provide a palate break from the taquerias.  They bring out of town guests here because, whether you're in Mexico or Italy, good food is good food.  The open air seating on the pedestrian-friendly Calle Agustín, Italian music and heavy handed wine pours all transport you to a sidewalk cafe.  While most people have their go to favorite menu item, wait to hear the specials to make your decision. There is always something to tempt you whether it is the very popular lasagna, fresh made cannelloni or a delicious local seafood stew made with red wine and plum tomatoes.  Tiramisu, cannolis and other rich Italian desserts are made daily to complete your meal.  Unfortunately, there are no gondolas to float you back to your hotel after the Italian feast!
