Villas El Morro offers the same panoramic vista as its luxury neighbor, Villa Verra Puerto Mio, but at one-third of the cost. The reduction in the nightly rate is, of course, offset by a reduction in luxury amenities. The rooms are smaller but some still contain kitchenettes that are fully stocked with cooking utensils. The decor and linens are rustic and simple but clean and opening out onto private terraces. There is AC in the bedrooms and wireless internet throughout the complex. An infinity pool overlooks the bay while the "superior" rooms also have private jacuzzis on their terraces.The staff is often mentioned in reviews as being extremely attentive and friendly. They often help arrange day trips to local beaches or villages and can also coordinate dinner reservations. It is a family-run option and it shows with their personal touches. The high number of return guests each year is a testament to their customer service.
A 15 minute walk into town down the hill, cabs can be called for free from the front desk.
