The Yosemite Facelift was started by the climbing community, as an effort to give back to this place where so many have gained so much from the vertical granite. Hundreds of volunteers show up to spend several days picking up litter and old junk throughout the park. In the evenings there are films, music, and some very special guest presenters to talk about their famous first ascents. The NPS helps support the Yosemite Climbing Association in this great contribution.
