Description:
Rental bikes are available at both Curry Village and Yosemite Lodge for accessing the 10 miles of bike trails and the 11 mile road loop of the west Valley. Both stands are closed during winter (only Yosemite Lodge's stand might be open if there's been a mild, dry stretch). The bike trails are good for families and strollers and are often shared with pedestrians. Helmets are required for kids and provided to all renters. Rent by the hour or the day. If you're planning to loop the whole Valley, riders must be skilled at riding with traffic, using coaster brakes and riding a bit of uphill to return.
