The Dipper Trail and Cameron Trail are located at Rowe Trailhead and Little Prairie, which are 9 and 11 km west of Waterton townsite along the Akamina Parkway. Several backcountry are accessible from here, however there are avalanche risks involved. The marked trails would be appropriate for beginners, and trail markings are very good. As an alternative to cross-country, try snow shoeing.Map:
