This Italian themed food truck makes its way around Vancouver, serving breakfast and lunch to hungry diners. Their Parms are their specialty and you can order a breakfast Parm that's made up of 2 scrambled eggs, topped with their homemade tomato marinara sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese, and hot peppers in a toasted Calabrese bun. If that doesn't start your day off on the right foot, it's hard to say what will. For lunch, you have a choice of the vegetarian eggplant Parm or their carnivorous version which is made up of locally grown chicken or veal cutlet, that is then fried to a crispy perfection and then doused with the same as the breakfast Parm but also has sauteed onions and mushrooms. You can also find pastas and salads on the menu, so if you forget your lunch, you will be well taken care of when you grab some lunch from Slingers.
