This Japanese Bistro on Davie Street is a fantastic little find that serves up fresh sashimi, tasty rolls and flavorful plates. When you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly server and you can sit close to the window, or along the back wall with full views of the sushi chef at work. The restaurant itself is quite small, but always full of happy customers enjoying their cuisine. Along that strip of Davie Street are a number of other sushi places that offer very cheap specials, and while Juno does offer a few specials, their focus is more on serving high quality for reasonable prices. The salmon gyoza is made up of five pieces of yummy pockets that are filled with salmon and vegetables and then pan fried and this dish is a very reasonable $5. They offer a daily sashimi special and it rotates on a regular basis. The spicy tuna roll is a classic that you can't go wrong with and the vegetable roll isn't your standard and includes fresh mango to up the flavor factor. Juno is definitely a great spot to stop and enjoy some of Vancouver's famous sushi.
