Description:
East is East is a hidden gem off of West Broadway and from the outside, you may have no inclination that you are about to enter a unique culinary experience. When you walk in, it may appear to be a small space, but head to the back of the hallway and you will be surprised to see another large room that's decorated with wooden tables, benches and Persian rugs. The menu caters to omnivores and vegetarians and it's all made in house with love. The lentil soup is worth going for if you don't order anything else, but luckily it comes with many of their plates, so you can taste it no matter what. Yes, it's that good! When you first sit down, they will treat you to a sample of their chai tea which is full of flavor and spice. For your main, there's so much to choose from and you can't go wrong with their chicken, paneer, lamb or milkshakes.
