Vail is known for its after-hours scene as much as its day scene. There used to be a German Beer Hall in the old gondola building that pretty much summed up a night in Vail, but now Lionshead has countless new restaurants and the Village, the taps that made it so appealing, and so effortlessly hard to be a ski bum, are still in action.
