Two years ago Turin won an award for the best Italian city for kids, so its easy to see why its so kid friendly.
Turin's city council has spent a long time developing environmental awareness, civic sense and an appreciation of local culture. The city's family-friendly attractions range from river trips to a rack railway ride, from a mysterious magic tour to a life size medieval village. Plus museums which are kid friendly such as the cinema and anthropological museums. But this is not all there are great parks, locals say the green spaces of Turin are the lungs of the city, as well as the river and the miles of riverside walks where playgrounds are plentiful.
But these attractions are not only fun for children but the whole family. So enjoy Turin's spirit of youth and the pleasure of being on holiday with the family.
