Turin's a great place to have fun. Whether its taking an underground tour or chocolate tasting, taking a river trip or exploring the cinema musuem, there are plenty of things to do for all the family.
Visiting a chocolate factory is a great place to start. Peyrano on Corso Moncalieri, close to the river, will interest all ages and allow those, who occassionally indulge in chocolate, an opportunity to taste real Piemonte chocolate. Underground tours to investigate the history and magic of the city are also very popular as are the boat trips on the river Po and visits to the National Cinema Museum. Turin's biggest playground however is the surrounding mountains where the Turinese head at weekends to indulge in a variety of leisure pursuits such as from walking to cycling and from skiing to climbing.
For those interested in wine the nearby hills of the Langhe offer wine lovers, the King of wines and the wine of Kings, Barolo, the classic red wine form Piemonte, a private tour to region should fit the billl. The city itself has some 40 kilometres of cycle paths plus a new bike sharing scheme, [TO]Bike, so there's no need to leave the centre. You can enjoy yourself with unique activities which are bound to put a smile on your face. Turin the city of fun.
