This elegant boutique hotel is one of the least rustic hotels in Tulum. They have 24-hour electricity, luxury bedding, an avant-garde chef that offers personalized service, exclusive bath products in rooms, and though small, their spa is one of the best we've encountered. This is a small, intimate property, and as such, does not provide 24-hour concierge service. Make sure you anticipate any late-night needs before you retire, such as extra drinking water, etc. However, during the day the staff makes up for their nighttime absence. The chef is extremely talented and accommodating and the massage therapists are masters at their craft. The best things about Coqui Coqui are their intoxicating fragrances. The owner brews perfumes and essences (for sale in their boutique) unique to the Yucatan, and the aromas flow throughout Coqui Coqui. Their heavenly spa products are mostly made in-house, as are the products provided in the rooms.
