Description:
Jax Kitchen, along with its sister restaurant The Abbey Food + Drink, is the brainchild of Brian and Sandy Metzger, who are appear to be enacting a slow culinary takeover of north Tucson. And that may not be a bad thing. The eclectic menu features comfort food with a decidedly upscale and European flair. The Duck Leg Confit Salad is a house favorite, as is the Jax Burger & Fries, featuring cast-iron Kobe beef, tobacco onions, barbeque aioli, jalapeno bacon, and real cheddar cheese. The creative menu is seasonal, and the wine list includes over 45 wines. There is also a full bar serving premium specialty cocktails, beer, and fine liquors.
