The Truckee River Sanctuary is a micro-eco farm and a community for sustainable living. It is about one mile east from Historic Downtown Truckee and the backyard leads right to the Truckee River. Rooms are available for nightly stays for $85 a night during the off season and $100 a night during the summer season. The owners accept dogs, serve continental breakfast and will give you information on local events, things to do, hiking trails and wellness retreat options.
