Description:
As you would expect, the
Museo Nacional de Ceramica, is more inclusive of the artisan ceramics of Mexico than the
Museo Regional de Ceramica. In the National Museum, you will find over 2,000 pieces of traditional and contemporary pottery by artisans from Sinaloa, Tlaxcala, Sonora, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, the State of México as well as Jalisco. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Admission is free.
