Founded by by J. Miguel Becerra Campos in 1998, Lacandona furniture uniquely details Mexican art and folklore. Using bold colors and folk history themes, the store offers furniture for the home and for restaurants. Some furniture decoration is painted, other, before being painted, is engraved the old fashion way: using machetes. Either way, this artisan art form is worth seeing and there is no better place to see its variety than at Lacandona´s.
