Nuestra Señora de la Soledad consists of two structures: the
18th century byzantine-neoclassical sanctuary and, quite close to it, the Parroquía de San Pedro built in in 1813 by the Franciscans (and recognized by the Vatican as a Basilica Lateranense. A three minute walk from the main shopping street (Independencia) and the Hidalgo park, these religious structures are well worth a visit.
