Hotels Near Downtown in Taos
Nothing beats a stroll around the Taos Plaza after the day has wound down, and fortunately your room doesn't have to be far away at all. There are several excellent properties withing a minute's walk from the Plaza. La Fonda de Taos is literally right on the Plaza, and the Historic Taos Inn is just across the street. The Fechin Inn is a few minutes away, with the advantage of passing some of Taos' best galleries on the way. El Monte Sagrado is a longer walk, but this unique green property is worth it, if just for its Anaconda Bar. Other properties listed are a longer walk, but just a minute's drive from the Plaza.
