Taipei's Huaxi Street night market, also known as Snake Alley, was once a seedy red light district. Snake Alley is one of the oldest areas of Taipei and a must-see for adventurous eaters. The smallish two-block market is home to several restaurants serving up snake and turtle in various presentations, as well as several strange drinks, including deer penis wine and snake blood vodka.
