When winter comes to Taipei, there's nothing better than a spicy, steaming bowl of beef noodle soup, and Yong Kang simmers their beef for hours to get it nice and tender. The broth is rich and spicy, the noodles are filling, and the whole meal will only set you back NT $200.Each table has a container of pickled greens that add zing to your soup. The Chinese menu also has a wide variety of appetizers, mostly cold vegetable dishes, to compliment the beef noodles. The menu is all in Chinese, so be sure to bring a local friend, or simply walk in, scan the surrounding tables and point to something that looks good!
