If you've ever eaten at a Lawry's in the US, you'll get the same quality, flavor, and portion sizes at a comparable price at the Taipei branch. The restaurant is famous for its prime rib, and the set meals also come with a salad spun table side,  fresh bread, Yorkshire pudding, and mashed potatoes. While it's not part of the set, the creamed corn is to die for, so order it. Prime rib cuts range in size from a dainty 6 ounce California cut to the whopping 16 ounce Diamond cut on the bone. The restaurant serves a few seafood entrees as well, but there's nothing truly vegetarian in sight.

With a tasteful and elegant dining room with polished hardwood floors, high ceilings, and huge Renaissance paintings covering the walls, Lawry's is a nice choice for special occasions and celebrations. The new location also includes a small terrace for more casual outdoor dining.
