The Dreaming Dragon is one of the nicer hostels in the city. Located in the Shida university area, the hostel is close to cheap food and shopping, including a few of Taipei's night markets. While most hostels settle for clean sheets to keep travelers coming, the Dreaming Dragon has added a boutique-like quality to their establishment with individually appointed rooms designed by a young local artist. Each of the five rooms is named after an alcoholic beverage based on the room's color palate, and all are comfortable and clean, while small. Air conditioning and free wireless internet are nice perks.
