Located near the Hyatt, The Tavern Premier is arguably one of the best places in the city to catch the big game, whether it be rugby, soccer, or cricket. The Tavern has gotten a bad rap in town for having less-than-friendly service and passable food, but their extensive draught and bottled beer menu, nice collection of single malts, and plethora of TV screens makes up for it, at least if you're a sports fan.The Tavern's webpage has an exhaustive list of sporting events that it plans to broadcast throughout the week, and expect the bar to be quite crowded for high-profile games. If you're less of a watcher and more of a player, the bar has an electronic dart board and foosball table to keep you entertained while your mates watch the match.
