The medium-sized winery applies the most modern technology to grapes from The Upper Hunter's oldest vineyard, which boasts many vines over 40 years of age. The 40-year-old open vat fermenters pioneered by Penfolds lend an historical touch to an otherwise industrial feel. Their price-point tiered lines include Classic Hunter, Black Cypress, as well as the value export The Bolter and Banjo lines.
