NileGuide Expert tip:
Get in early for lunch, the lines can get long.
Description:
Tucked away in the busy streets of Chinatown lies a small Asian food court easy to miss at a glance, but come lunch time and a flock of locals and students line the street to get their hands on some Chinatown's best. Most notably Gumshara's ramen (Japanese noodle soup), this small stand has created a cult following and is possibly the most popular dish in all of Eating World. For a different take on Japanese cuisine wander over to Kimama Kitchen. It offers one of the most delicious budget snacks in the area, a potato salad served with miso-pickles with a garnish of dressed lettuce leaves. The plate may be small, but for $2, they sure pack a lot on. Young and old, rich and poor, no matter who you are you will find something that will tickle your fancy in this small eatery.
