Life's A Beach
Living in a city and having beaches on your doorstep is a way to live and a good reason Sydneysiders are so envied.
The beaches in Sydney are such a wonderful part of the city life and culture, meaning working in a suit by day and racing to the coast for an early evening swim or a picnic on the beach by night. Snorkelling, swimming, sun baking, splashing in the waves or simply enjoying a morning coffee in a beachside café. Wandering along coastal paths that plunge into sapphire seas.
That's Sydney. On the 'can't miss list' are the northern red sandy beaches of Whale and Palm, the golden sand and surf of Dee Why and Curl Curl. The surf stretch that is Manly, the iconic Bondi, Clovelly for its kid-friendly shallows and Balmoral for its white sands and upscale restaurants. Tamarama is known to locals as 'Glamourama' for those who like make a beachside fashion statement and Bronte makes the perfect picnic spot.
