Description:
Reputed to be the largest nightclub in Australia, Home certainly ticks a lot of boxes: waterside location; slick interior design combining wood, metal and stone spread over three levels, luxurious rooftop terrace. In full swing, Home holds over 2000 guests.
Also cleverly incorporated into the complex is Tokio Hotel and Bona Fides Cafe, a waterfront cocktail bar that stages an eclectic mix of acts, including blues and roots, acid jazz or even burlesque throughout the week.
Elsewhere, choose a night that suits; Thursdays - Unipackers; Friday - OH MY! and Sublime (trance and hip-hop); Saturday - Homemade (house). And should that not be enough, try Spice, an after hours electronic session for serious clubbers (5am to 2pm) on weekends.
Sure, the queues can be long, the door charges steep and the drinks aren't cheap (this is tourist central at Darling Harbour, after all) but it's been around a while now, and though other clubs have come and gone, there's really no place like Home.
