Degerloch
A favorite residential area, the name comes from teger and lohe, which means "thick forest" and you can certainly see why this is the name. There are many beautiful paths for walks, and more than a handful of sports facilities, especially in the woods around the TV-tower. If you are keen on trying an alternative way to reach Degerloch, you should take a ride on the funicular railway, the Zahnradbahn.
