Caneel Bay Beach is located within the Caneel Bay Resort complex, but is open to the public (though you may not use the beach chairs or watersports equipment unless you are a registered guest.The water is clear and the sand is white (like most other St. John beaches) but the advantage of Caneel is that it's close to Cruz Bay and adjacent to the many attractions within the resort, such as restaurants, other beaches, and the ruins of a sugar plantation. So it's ideal for those who are keen on multi-tasking, or who just don't want to stray far from the activity of Cruz Bay.
