Romantic Things To Do in St. John

If you and your partner are interested in an intimate vacation, St. John is well-known for its many places and activities to have romantic fun a deux.

You might hike down the Reef Bay Trail to explore the old plantation ruins at Reef Bay. This is a moderate hike but for those not up for the return trip Virgin Islands National Park runs guided hikes several days a week that end with a boat trip back to Cruz Bay.

Salt Pond Bay, located within Virgin Islands National Park on the island's south shore, offers excellent snorkeling among the rocks and tide pools. Hike down to the white, sandy beach at Honeymoon Bay via a trail that starts at the top of the hill as you head out of Cruz Bay on Route 20 or along the path from Caneel Bay Resort. Excellent snorkeling, swimming and sunning make it worth the effort.

Of course, almost anywhere in St. Thomas is a super spot for lying on the beach with a tropical drink in hand, enjoying the turquoise water, and soaking up the Caribbean sun but St. Thomas offers plenty of active romantic things to do as well.
