St. John Hotels
The majority of lodgings on St. John are not necessarily the conventional hotel type, as the island tends toward self-contained accommodation like condos and eco-campgrounds. So a list of the best hotels on St. John will naturally include a fair number of alternate types of lodgings.
The two "traditional" hotels on St. John also happen to be some of the classiest - and priciest - places to stay. Zootenvaal, out in Hurricane Hole, is more remote and secluded, and is ideal for those who really want to get away from it all. It's near a private snorkeling beach and just steps from the National Park boundary.

These solar- and wind-powered units combine sustainable technology with spectacular views. You won't get a ton of fancy resort amenities here, but you'll be cool, comfortable, and doing something good for the environment.
