Sonoma Mountain/ Glen Ellen
Sonoma Mountain's geography plays a huge part in both the wines it produces and the wines of its surrounding regions. While its height shields the Sonoma Valley AVA from the cool ocean winds, its terrain makes a variety of diverse micro-climates that make it home to a large range of varietals. The most widely planted grapes include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Zinfandel.
