Indigo Blue Art was established in Singapore in 2004 to showcase contemporary Indian art. Their gallery space comprises two storeys of a beautifully restored shophouse in Chinatown. Their collection covers various forms of art, from naïve folk and tribal art, high caliber works by the fabled masters and senior artists, to the talented work from emerging artists in India today. The gallery aims to provide a historical context whilst reflecting on important trends in contemporary Indian art.Indigo Blue Art offers a series of mixed and solo exhibitions throughout the year, including paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture, and they often run events featuring the artists, to enable visitors to gain a greater insight into the artist's world.
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 11am – 6pm.
