Located at the Raffles Place entrance to Boat Quay, The Penny Black is a traditional 'Victorian' London pub in the heart of Singapore. The pub was designed and built in England and shipped and installed in its entirety to its present location on Boat Quay. A wide range of beers are available on tap, including Tiger, Heineken, Guinness, Old Speckled Hen, Kilkenny, Erdinger Weissbier and Strongbow Cider, while typical British pub food includes Fish and Chips with mushy peas, Traditional Roast, and home made Beef Burgers. The pub fills up in the early evenings with office workers from the nearby Financial District, and during live sporting events.
