Harry's at Boat Quay was made famous by its infamous former regular, bank-breaker Nick Leeson who used to frequent this boozer during his Singapore working life and before bringing Barings Bank to its knees. It is still popular with the banking crowd who flock here after work for its 'Crazy Hour', when beer prices are slashed to around $10 a pint. The indoors is a typical English-style pub, while the alfresco riverside setting offers views of the colonial buildings and the towering skyscrapers of the Financial District.
