Description:
Tucked away at the bottom of the Emerald Hill, the Alley Bar has found its home in among a quaint alley of refurbished shophouses dating from 1910. The sweeping airy ceiling and flagstoned floor hint back to its days as a derelict alleyway, while the 15m long black terrazzo bar, gilt framed mirror and Acid jazz grooves alert you to the fact that this might just be a cool little gem of a find. A lengthy cocktail menu features mojitos, martinis and some of the biggest frozen margaritas in town, while the food menu promises Asian snacks such as vegetable tempura and Cantonese wings. A happy hour from 5pm-9pm daily sees pints of beer going for $9.90 and house pour spirits for just $5.50.
