Description:
Bud's Bar is in Sedalia, a town with enough rolling grassland and hills between it and Denver that only those born and raised in the Mountain time zone would dare call it a suburb. Those who do make the half-hour trip southwest of the city will be treated to what many believe to be the best burger in the whole state, if not one of the best in the nation. There's nothing fancy going on here – for example, the idea that burgers are traditionally served with a side of fries has yet to make headway out here and the service is infamously and unapologetically slow. This is all part of the experience at Bud's and you can always strike up a conversation with one of the bikers or hippies having a drink while you wait. Bud's is old-school Colorado.
