Close to the action but surrounded by peace and quiet - is that too much to ask for hotel accommodations? Not in Seattle. The famous Seattle Center, which includes the Space Needle, is in lower Queen Anne, a calm, beautiful neighborhood with plenty to offer tourists looking for a room.
If you're on a budget, check out the Travelodge or the Best Western Executive Inn, both of which are just two blocks from Seattle Center. Other great options include the Holiday Inn Express Seattle, which offers a free hot and cold breakfast buffet, or the Quality Inn & Suites, where guests can relax in a heated indoor pool.
The Hyatt Place Downtown is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers and includes a 24-hour guest kitchen. Another more luxurious option is south of lower Queen Anne at the Edgewater, a gorgeous hotel with a lodge-feel right on the Puget Sound and a short walk from Seattle Center.
If it's a bed and breakfast you're after, Queen Anne's got you covered. The Mediterranean Inn offers lovely studios in a converted apartment building, and the Inn at Queen Anne has a peaceful garden courtyard and weekly wine tastings for guests.
