Ever since Savannah was discovered by tourists, menu prices have climbed but it's still possible to find a good cheap restaurant in the city. 700 Drayton is the culinary showplace of the most plush and sybaritic hotel to open in Savannah in years but the food is still affordable. Situated in a renovated building that was once home to the City Hotel, Moon River Brewing Company is a restaurant, bar and Savannah's only microbrewery. The menu at Local 11 Ten is seasonally driven and continually changes, reflecting the availability of products and the chef's vision for the given season and day. Pearl's Saltwater Grille has fresh seafood and choice steaks to be enjoyed overlooking the Herb River. Johnny Harris is Savannah's oldest continuously operated restaurant and has a lingering aura of the 1950s, with all the great food so beloved back in the days of Elvis and Marilyn. Of course, prices have risen since then but it's still possible to find a good meal and a friendly check at one of Savannah's cheap restaurants.
