Accessible by Metro (Tietê), the country's biggest bus station connects São Paulo city with more than 600 locations across Brazil (as well as Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile). On weekends and holidays, the Rodoviário becomes a beehive of buses, from the 70-plus companies housed here, coming and going. Several fast-food restaurants and cafes save travelers from having to hit the roads on empty stomachs.
