Description:

The concept of Spicy Chile is a pay-what-you-wish tour. They meet several times a week at different locations, and the number of people that show up is the number of people that go. There is no need to book in advance. That means the number of people on the tour can vary from about two to about twenty, but the trained guides should be able to deal with that with no problem.

This tour takes you from in front of La Moneda, up through downtown, pointing out different buildings and classic restaurants, including Plaza de Armas, Bellas Artes and the Lastarria neighborhood, pausing for coffee (not included) on the way, and ending at La Chascona (entry not included). Along the way, you'll get history and anecdotes. When your tour is over, you tip the guide as you wish, and he or she can direct you back to a metro station, or you can stay longer to explore the area you're in.

The tour lasts four hours, and takes place M- Sat at 10 AM and 2 PM. The meeting place is opposite the giant flag in front of the Moneda Palace (metro La Moneda).
