Description:
The Church of the Holy Sacrament (La Iglesia del SantÃsimo Sacramento) which is also known as "Los Sacramentinos" has a history dating back to the mid 1800s. Construction on the church began in 1912, and its Roman-Byzantine style is inspired in the design of the Sacre Coure in France.
The pulpit and conessionals are elaborately carved, and were made in the Salesian workshops, and the angels and statue of Jesus were careved by the sculptor Aliro Periera, from teh school of Bellas Artes in Chile.
The church is visible from the street Santa Isabel, and for a morebel and may be visited during mass.
