If you've ever wanted to imagine what it would be like to live, shop, cook and eat in a big Latin American city, then FoodyChile's Urban Flovor tours are a good start. On this tour, you are picked up from the Bellas Artes Metro, and from there will wander the Vega, the giant central market where most of Santiago's produce comes through. The guide takes you through, introduces you to vendors, and helps to select what is the best, in-season produce with which to make a meal. Together you'll head back to a private kitchen to whip up an appetizer, main course and dessert out of your market-found bounty.The tour lasts about 5 hours and the guides can arrange pickup from your hotel, if you prefer (at additional cost)
