Argentine-owned Patagonia is small, cozy restaurant and café in Lastarría, a cute cobblestoned neighborhood close to metro Bellas Artes (Green line) and Santa Lucía (Red line). It features Argentine-style food, with beef, pasta, sandwiches and nice pastries. The presentation is above average and the food is tasty, though not inexpensive by Chilean standards (a lunch will easily cost $14 without wine). The chocolates are delicious, as well, and owners Jorge Leguizamon and Andrea Oyharbide have created a great space for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, dessert or after-dinner drinks. They have a nice wine (by the glass or bottle) and artesenal beer selection.
